About the Directory

This 216-page directory and guide to lobbying has 233 photos, a roster of all 640 legislative branch lobbyists, and an 83-page section on how to lobby.

We’ve intermittently published this directory since 1998.

However, the section on how to lobby, "The Art and Craft of Lobbying," is published here for the first time and it alone is worth the price of the book. No other source has such authoritative information on how to work effectively with the Kentucky General Assembly. It centers on interviews with lobbyists and lawmakers, past and present: Walter Baker, David Boswell, Jim Bruce, Jim Callahan, Jim Carloss, Bill Caylor, Joe Clarke, Jack Coleman, John Cooper, Bob Damron, Jan Gould, John Hinkle, Harry Hoe, David Karem, Marshall Long, Ed O'Daniel, J.
